In a stretch of three days, Highlanders and worshippers were treated to an animation of the fine details of the book of Esther in a programme tagged Banquet of Favour. Hidden lessons from the text were exposed in the course of the meetings.
There were a lot to learn, prophesy, confess and pray about in Goshen this past weekend. Attendees were charged enough to be involved in all of these. As the Word of favour flowed from the altar, they were prophetically appropriated by the very compliant worshippers. The Word also exorcised from them any spirit of error, the type that possessed Vashti and Haman.
Operation Esther, as this banquet was called, also sharpened the sensibilities of participants to critical gatekeepers like Memukan (Esth 1:14, 16), the king’s personal attendants (Esth 2:2), Hegai (Esth 2:8) and Harbona (Esth 7:9) who still exist in various forms in our world today.
The height of the Operation happened on Sunday when the baby was clinically delivered. In his ministration, the Senior Pastor, Joseph Aborowa combined drama with intense prayers to lead the tongue-talking congregation before the Throne of Grace.
He also demonstrated the honour which King Ahasuerus ordered Haman to do unto Mordecai, who he had arranged to hang. From this Operation, it is clear that the King has now extended the golden sceptre to highlanders. They are in for big and continued celebrations.
