April 2022: Our Month of Life
Praise be the Lord for bringing us to the month of April.
What is God saying to us in this fourth month of the year? John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
According to the Amplified version, Christ has come that we may have and enjoy life. Romans 8:11 reiterates this when it says, But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
The use of “quicken” here means to revive and supply life. All over the world, this is the month where we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. It is the month of Easter which represents life and resurrection.
On the strength of God’s Word backed by the above scriptures, this April is declared to every Highland Church member and those connected to this Commission as Our Month of Life. Go ahead and personalize it as Your Month of Life.
Profess that everywhere you go this month, you shall enjoy life with celebrations, increase in all you do. Speak life to your body, business and career. Speak life to your relationship, marriage and children. Let everything that concerns you have the sort of life that Heaven intends for us this April.
Because Jesus lives, you shall also live. Your going out and coming in this month is blessed. The hands of God will rest upon you. Let the same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead revitalize, quicken and supply life to all that concern you in the name of Jesus. Encounter favour, joy and celebrations wherever you go this April in Jesus name.
