August 2022: Our Month of Divine Visitation
Praise the Lord for bringing us into this special day of joy and a day of rejoicing.
This is a fresh month, and we return all the glory to God for making us, partakers!
The Lord has a word for us in Genesis 50:25-26 which reads, “And Joseph took an oath of the children of Israel, saying, God will surely visit you, and ye shall carry up my bones from hence. 26 So Joseph died, being a hundred and ten years old: and they embalmed him, and he was put in a coffin in Egypt”.
Here, Joseph made a profound statement when he declared that the Lord will surely visit the children of Israel, and when He does, they should carry his bones from Egypt with them to the Promised Land.
We read in Exodus 13:19, that Moses carried the bones of Joseph just as he had demanded of his brethren before giving up the ghost (Genesis 50:25-26). He made them swear on an oath to move his remains with them when the Lord visits the Israelites to free them from captivity.
Moses, who was not born at the time Joseph made the request, carried it out when God visited the Israelites through him. Moses lived for 120 years and began the rescue mission of the Israelites when he was 80. Joseph spoke 260 years before Moses was born, yet he got to carry the bone of Joseph with him on the journey to the Promised Land. This was because the Lord actually visited them.
Heaven’s message to every member of Highland Church is to expect a visitation from the Lord in the coming days. I, therefore, declare August as Our Month of Divine Visitation.
This August, God will surely visit you, and enable you to experience favour, honour and glory wherever you go.
The same way the host of Israel left Egypt is how you will leave whatever has been holding you down. It doesn’t matter how many months you’ve spent in captivity, you are leaving Egypt this August in the mighty name of Jesus.
As you go about this month, I bless you with the blessings of the Lord, the works of your hands are blessed. Whatever you lay your hands upon this month shall prosper, blossom, and be on the increase.
Be on the lookout for something great and wonderful because this August is our month of divine visitation.
